Aerospace Wales is delighted to host its 3rd highly popular biennial Capability Showcase & Supply Chain Opportunities Event which will be returning to Coleg Cambria, Connah’s Quay, North Wales on Thurs, 7th December 2023.

Wales is a centre of excellence for aerospace manufacturing, employing over 23,000 people in the sector.  With just 3% of the UK’s population, Wales is home to around 10% of the UK’s aerospace industry which also includes 20% of the UK’s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul work. State-of-the-art facilities now manufacture, supply, maintain, repair and overhaul, civil and military aircraft from around the world. As such, the aerospace sector in Wales is a dynamic growth industry that operates on best practice techniques and spends £millions in the UK’s supply chain every year.

Working successfully with Nu-Tech Exhibitions + Events, the day will bring together partners, speakers, delegates, buyers, customers and suppliers from across the UK.

The Programme

Following in the footsteps of the hugely successful first two events, the 2023 Capability Showcase & Supply Chain Opportunities event will see key speakers from the major aerospace, defence and space manufacturing companies based in Wales. The morning conference will provide a platform for these major players to provide a series of short presentations on supply chain opportunities within their organisations and how they are actively looking to engage with new suppliers and seek new technologies.

This will be followed by an intense session of one-to-one meet the buyer appointments where delegates from across Wales and the UK, can meet with buyers and end-users from the key speaker companies in a face-to-face environment so that product capabilities and areas of mutual interest and support can be freely discussed.

Adding further value to the occasion, the Capability Showcase exhibition will be held in parallel with the Supply Chain Opportunities Event. This gives companies from Wales and across the UK an opportunity to demonstrate their products, services and capabilities to those in the Aerospace, defence and space markets, including the key buyers from the industry.

What will you get?

In promoting potential business opportunities and supplier networking, this one day event will include presentations from aerospace sector leaders, a supplier’s capability showcase exhibition as well as the chance to pre-book ‘face-to-face’ meetings with a selection of buyers and key representatives from aerospace, defence and space sectors.
